    • He was also an IIT aspirant when he gave entrance exam for engineering after his schooling, but he couldn’t attend it. Thereafter he entered the university of Mysore.
    • He married Sudha Murthy who was also an intellect, philanthropist, and a gold medallist. She also stood profoundly on the grounds of education and technology.

    • He has worked as a chief systems programmer with IIM.
    • He has experience of working to develop, India’s first time-sharing, and computer system at IIM. He also Designed, implemented A fusion for Electronics Corporation of India Limited in the shape of the BASIC interpreter.
    • He also invested his time in starting up a company named Softronics, which was not a hit.
    • Soon after that, he joined Patni Computer Systems in Pune, Maharashtra.
    • Murthy served HSBC on a corporate board as an independent director.
    • He worked efficiently on advisory boards and as councils of many educational and philanthropic institutions.

In 1981, Infosys .Murthy along with six software professionals Infosys.For over a period from 1981 to 2002, he served as “CEO” of the company. At Infosys he vision to form a company which participated in formulating, articulate and designed the Global Delivery Model, for IT outsourcing from India.
